You many know PewDiePie -Or Felix Kjellberg- he's the guy that runs the most popular YouTube channel of the same name and has been in the news recently discussing how he makes millions of dollars.
Well, Felix shared news of a pretty huge milestone with us via Twitter on the 6th of September and announced he had passed 10 billion views! Now first question.. 10 English billion or American billion? For those who don't know, an English billion is a million million where as American billion is a thousand million, which raises the question of just how many views he has.
Regardless of which, it is a pretty impressive achievement and I think its well deserved. Many people have talked trash about PewDiePie saying he's lazy by making money playing games and he doesn't deserve to be the biggest channel, but in all honesty he must put in so much effort to pump out videos daily for the past few years and have them still be funny and original.
Felix described his fame saying "It's Unsettling: I'm so central to YouTube now, and that puts me in the spotlight and raise a lot of questions like 'why is he big?"
PewDiePie may not be everyone's cup of tea due to the nature of his content, but there's no lying that we all want to earn the money he does by playing games right? I personally think Felix deserves his fame and brings a lot of joy to those who watch his videos so I say more power to him and keep up the good work, but do you?
