So after a few months of Rocksteady working day and night, they have finally released a patch for the game claiming to fix these reported bugs and problems. Reviews of the patch and game, after installing, are massively positive at the moment and confirm the game to be in a playable state.
As I didn't jump on the hype train for Arkham Knight I didn't experience the problems and nor can confirm if this information is true. However I do take the word of trusted Youtubers and Friends who own the game on PC.
So if you own a copy of the game be sure to find the latest patch and restore the game to its much deserved glory.
Patch notes are listed below (credit to GameSpot)
- Reduced frame rate hitches
- Optimizations for system memory and Vram usage
- Improved performance on all GPU's (requires latest drivers)
- More comprehensive in-game settings
- fixed low resolution texture bugs
- fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)
