Capcom have announced that their semi-popular JRPG, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen, will come to PC in January 2016. The game originally released for PS3 and Xbox 360 as Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen back in May 2012 but then saw a MASSIVE expansion and disc re-release in April 2013 with the same title.
Dragons Dogma will be available to buy via Steam and Local retailers for around £24.99 and DOES support Xbox 360 and Xbox ONE controller support as well as keyboard and mouse. Capcom have also promised a great improvement to the graphics as well as FULL Steam support including achievements.
The story tells of a hero wounded in battle with a mighty dragon who steals his heart forbidding him to die and live a life of torture unless he can slay the dragon in one final battle. The game is very much an 3rd person, open world RPG with huge fantasy elements that spawns a map that would take you a couple of hours to travel IRL as well as hundreds of side quests. The game has personally given me hundreds of hours of joy from swinging on the back of a troll to stabbing a griffin in the eye with a stick. The game introduces a great feature of companions who are completely customization and are able to be sent off to the online world and joins others in battle earning you rewards in the process.
Dragons Dogma has to be one of my favorite games and I couldn't recommend it enough to those who enjoy the likes of Skyrim, The Witcher series and Dragon Age.
