MGSV Limited Edition PS4 Has A Typo Printed On It

Every so often PlayStation announce a limited edition console for an upcoming game, this time it was the highly anticipated, heavy criticized Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. 

Pictures of the console surfaced on NeoGaf over the weekend and one Reddit user pointed out quite a big mistake. Over the top of the console is printed a fake warning label that reads "Do not use molybdeum lubrication" the type is in the chemical name which should read "Molybdenum" Pictures can be seen below!

Although the print isn't noticeable to most user's it will be a mark to the consoles name and will forever be remembered by this mistake. No news from Konami about if there are plans to fix this mistake but i'd be very surprised if they noticed and decided to leave the type for money purposes.

Borderlands Movie In The Pipelines!

Lionsgate studios, the guys behind the Hunger Games films are in search for a new franchise to bring to the big screen and they think they've found what they're looking for. The Production company are in talks with Gearbox studios, the developers of hit FPS RPG Borderlands.

The game Borderlands takes you to the land of Pandora, A planet as full of minerals and treasure as it is aliens and monsters. You play as one of 4 characters, treasure hunting for the lands most glorious loot heading on quests and mission to get just that. The game is jam-packed with dirty, crude and damn right hilarious jokes and humour that will create an interesting challenge for Lionsgate to portray into the film.

Co-chairs, Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger have already stated "The Borderlands games don't pull any punches, and we'll make the movie with the same in-your-face attitude that has made the series a blockbuster mega-franchise" which gives me hope they can break this bad name of Video game movie adaptations. With the recent Pixels and Hitman Agent 47 films stinking out the box office, it will be nice to see a video game movie smash the charts and show the people that video games done correctly, CAN be made into movies.

"Lionsgate really seems to get Borderlands and we're giving a mission to them, to make the first good movie based on a video game, and knowing Borderlands, its probably going to be rated R." said Gearbox's Randy Pitchford in an interview. To be honest I really hope he's right with the R rating as Borderlands is known for its gore and dirty jokes and to make it any other way would be destroying its name. No news as of yet if they'll be going down the road of Borderlands 1 or 2 but in all honesty, ether one will bring an amazing outcome. I personally am wishing for a Mad-Max style wasteland adventure following the cast of the 2nd game.

The Razer Wild Cat, The Tournament Grade Xbox one Controller!

Razer, A brand known for their extremely high quality PC accessories such as mouse, keyboards and headsets announced today they'll be producing an Xbox One controller. The controller can be seen in the images below and has shown of the extra buttons being added to the standard style. 2 extra bumpers and 2 extra triggers allow button binding to anything you please for the optimal response time in gaming!

The controller also sports a 3.5 audio jack at the bottom to allow standard PC headsets to be used with Xbox One, following the style of the new pro controllers announced by Microsoft. Razer have called the model "tournament grade" and we can see why with all these features.

Parts of the controller can be swapped out for replacements or new styles all together such as the D-pad, analogue sticks and optional palm grips seen in the images. The weight clocks in at 0.57 pounds and claims to be 20% lighter then Microsoft's original designs,

 Buying the controller will also get you a 10 foot USB charger as well as a hard shell carry case. Plans to release the Wild Cat are set for Late October and prices have been confirmed for $150 or roughly £95.

Nintendo CONFIRMS The Shovel Knight Rumors And Shows Of The Amiibo!

The past few days have been a snow storm of rumors for our beloved-spade bashing friend, with multiple rumors about his appearance in Smash Bros. and own Amiibo NFC figure. Well we can all let out that big breath you were holding because Nintendo have confirmed the NFC figure to be true and have shown of a HD picture of it. Still no word on his appearance in Smash Bros. but there is still time and if everybody just wishes hard enough.. so GET WISHING.

Shovel Knight was heavily rumored to be announced at PAX 2015 along with a Nintendo version of the 8-bit side scroller paired with upcoming DLC. Both of those have no been confirmed by Nintendo Themselves.

NEW! Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser Footage Shows Finn and Ren With Lightsabers?

Star Wars Official Instagram just released this exclusive footage of the upcoming trailer for Episode VII! The footage only shows a head over view of the New Order with their masters and Finn and Ren wielding their light-sabers. We already knew about Finn being a Jedi due to the leaks and early releases of lunchboxes and bags and other merch showing Finn with his blue saber. Shovel Knight Amiibo CONFIRMED By GAME UK!

Today, one of GAME UK's branches , Brighton, released a tweet from their local Twitter account, confirming the release of a Shovel Knight Amiibo! The tweet was deleted faster then you can say "out of stock" but Thanks to NintendoLife you can see it here! 

The tweet was very official and can be beleaved to not be a hoax. It also confirms a release date of November 27th but we are unsure if this is Europe's release date or worldwide. The post confirms it will work best with Shovel Knight for WiiU and 3DS but also confirms it will work with multiple games. could this be more proof that he's digging his way into Smash Bros. for the WiiU? You can read HERE, about our speculation and see fresh evidence to imply he will be a playable character in the hit Nintendo game.

Could this be fresh evidence that Shovel Knight is coming to Smash Bros.?

Rumours have been circling this past month about Shovel Knight making his way into Nintendo's hit game, Super Smash Bros. To beging with their was the Spanish retailers leak of a Shovel Knight Amiibo. Well, NintendoLife recently shared a few details about their talks with multiple retailers about the recent rumours of a Shovel Knight and think they've figured this all out

"We've been in touch with multiple sources within the video game retail sector - which we sadly can't name as it could lead to their dismissal - who claim that Shovel Knight is indeed about to make his Smash Bros. début, and there WILL be an Amiibo figure to accompany this grand event"

They go on to explain how Yacht Club (Shovel Knight Developers) made a statement about their upcoming DLC. "We've heard the cries of bringing more exclusive content to Nintendo platforms. It might not be quite what you expect.. but keep an eye out for another MEGATON announcement soon" Both Yacht Club and Nintendo have booked kiosks at the PAX event and NintendoLife speculates this could be where they plan to reveal all! They have faith that these past fake rumours of His appearance could be "Very, Very real"

JJ Abrams Shares A Few Details About Kylo Ren [Possible Minor Spoilers]

Since the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, everybody's been wondering what's the deal with the dude with the board-saber? Well, Kylo Ren was revealed months ago but still no details about his past or what he wants to accomplish. The main question asked by fans was "Why isn't he Darth Ren?" and Director JJ Abrams gives us that answer with this months issue of Empire Magazine, "Its simple because he isn't a Sith, he works under Supreme Leader Snoke, who is a powerful figure on the Dark Side of the Force"


If you remember, Snoke has been confirmed to be played by Andy Serkis and can be hear providing the voice over on the first teaser trailer for Episode VII. He gives a few details on how the universe came to be in the state it is as well as Rens Background. 

Not much more came from the interview with Abrams and Empire interview but more can be read in this months issue with Episode VII as its main feature!

Watch The Swords From The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Get Made IRL!

Man At Arms, a web series by Break.com which follows the actions of a black smithing company titled Baltimore Knife & Sword. The gang produce weapons seen in games and films and make some really awesome stuff in great detail! This week they decided to take on the challenge of making the swords from The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt. This includes a steal word with a wolf head pommel and and silver sword with flared hand protectors.

The guys really gave it their all and produced some amazing weapons! Be sure to check out some of their other builds as well as this one! I highly recommend the Halo energy sword and  counter Strike Knifes.

Nintendo To Release 2 NEW Wii Remote Plus Controllers With Toad and Bowser Designs!

2 NEW Wii controllers were showed off today with new designs for both Toad and Bowser. These designs were released back in March 2015 in Japan but finally made their way to Europe and US. Both Controllers are to be released on November 20TH, just 5 days after the release of MEGA Yarn Yoshi!

Nintendo Show Off Mega Yarn Yoshi And Its Really Quite Awesome!

Nintendo have really stepped up their game with the Amiibo craze lately, releasing all those previously hard to get models and coming up with great designs for awesome games. However, Nintendo have really out done themselves now by announcing a MEGA Yarn Yoshi Amiibo! 

The Standard yarn Yoshi Amiibo was adorable enough, but now with this new size Yarn Yoshi you'll be able to squeeze and cuddle him as much as you like! Nintendo of Europe tweeted out the pictures below to show us the new scale of the lovable green yarn Yoshi costing around $39.99 which changes to roughly £25.99. This Amiibo takes the title of  most expensive yet. The Plush Amiibo is a fully functioning NFC figure so will work exactly the same as all other 3 Yoshi Amiibo's, allowing you to grab a companion in Woolly World or take on an AI in Sm4sh.

The Amiibo is set to release on November 15 and will set you back a heffty amount no matter where you're from. No details about the size of the Amiibo have been shared yet but I estimate it to stand at around H30 x W9.5 x D8cm.

The New Nintendo NX System Might Not Have A Disk Drive?!

Just a few days ago a new patent filed by gaming giants Nintendo back in February 2015 pop'd up online and was discovered by NeoGaf. Now, everybody knows about Nintendo's plan for a new gaming system titled the "NX" but nobody has any details on what it could include, However,  this patent found online could be a major clue for what to expect.

The main featured listed in the description of the product is the lack of an optical disk drive, meaning Nintendo could be going down the road of digital downloads only which I really hope is not the case. Most gamers hiss and snarl at the term "digital downloads only" and they're 100 per cent right too as this will cause massive problems for those without stable internet connections including yours truly! But somehow I don't quite think psychical media is completely out the door for the new console but rather in the shape of SD cards similar to that of the DS. Below is a picture of what Nintendo have described with most of the features revealed and it does list a slot for SD cards but doesn't explain what size or type of card it's designed for leaving me with hope this is their replacement for CD's.

Patents are a tricky thing to look at and speculate about as there is no way of telling if this is even for Nintendo's new console and could be designs of a much later planed version or maybe a digital only edition of the WiiU for those not able to afford the regular console? The patent does go on to explain about the controller and it does sound a lot like the WiiU gamepad but this could just be a returning feature despite all the hate for it.

I wont go on about every tiny little feature listed and will leave that to you guys to look at and speculate what you think they're being used for so be sure to leave me some comments below and get a conversation going. 

Rick and Morty Bless Your Dota 2 With Announcer Pack!

Valve's most popular game, responsible for millions of views on Twitch and Many Esports competitions, Dota 2 has released a special voice pack featuring the voices from the hit web cartoon Rick and Morty! The indie developed cartoon is featured on Adult Swim and follows the life of Scientist Rick Sanchez and grandson Morty Smith as they travel through time and space proving that science can be fun and entertaining. I personally watch Rick and Morty weekly and hugely enjoy the fact that Valve have included the voices provided by co-creator Justin Roiland to shed light on the web cartoon and spice up the boring game announcements.

Both Rick and Morty have featured lines and comment on everything happening in the game with a hint of comedy as standard for their level of genius. You can pick up the voice pack from Steams workshop today as well as other voice packs produced by valve including Portal and The Stanley Parable!

Pokken Tournament Finally Announced for WiiU!

Spring 2016 holds the release of one of the greatest games for WiiU, Pokken Tournament. The Street Fighter styled 1 on 1 beat'em up with Pokemon contestants! Fans have wanted this game for years and years.. we had something close with Pokemon Colosseum but now we finally have it! The game was confirmed for Japan arcades a few months ago and many thought this would the end point of the game, However, At this years Pokemon World Championships ,taking place in Boston right now, it was confirmed the game will make its way to WiiU!

Rumors were speculated about Amiibo support and many questions were asked if this was true but no answers were given, Seeing a line of Pokemon fighting figure would blow up and surely be the most popular line of Nintendo's NFC figures.

Play Nintendo's 3rd Person Ink Shooter Splatoon For FREE This Weekend!

This Weekend, starting August 21ST running through untill Sunday24TH, you can download and play Nintendo's popular 3rd person Splatoon for free! Nintendo have done these "TestFire" event before letting players grab a hold of a demo version of the game and play turf war online in a couple of their maps! Like the TestFire event before you only have select windows to actually play the online and these will be between 3-5 PM PDT / 6-8 PM EDT. The demo is available in the EShop now but wont unlock until the listed times above!

More Xbox 360 Games To Be Announced For Backwards Compatibility!

This week, an eager fan tweeted Phil Spencer asking when we'd hear about the next batch of games to be announced for Xbox One's backwards compatibility. Phil, The CEO of Xbox, replied stating "You should hear some news this week". The fan then went on to ask if Red Dead Redemption was among those but no reply was given. 

Over 87,000 votes were placed by fans trying to get their favorite title into the next batch and sitting nicely on top of that pile is Black Ops 2, Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach and many more, However, That is not a solid guarantee that these games will ever feel the sweet tender embrace of Xbox One. 

Xbox Ones backwards compatibility is available for everyone in November but preview program members can get in on the action now!

Vault Boy Account Shows Up On Tinder?

Tinder, the mobile app for finding singles in your area is a very popular way of meeting new people to talk to.. and you know.. other things you'd do with people you just met. But the other day users were puzzled to find a certain beloved character looking for sexy singles!

 Fallout's Vault boy had a profile made in a great marketing action to promote the upcoming Fallout 4 and Fallout Shelter (Available on Mobile now). Character profiles on Tinder are not anything new but whats great is Bethesda, the company behind Fallout, were the guys to set it up! This was a great PR move by the already loved gaming giant.

Vault Boy is apparently 25 and like both male and female! People have taken this opportunity to sign up to tinder and try flirting with him to see if he'll let out anymore Pipboy editions but its highly doubtful he will!

5 Reasons to make the switch from 3DS to the New 3DS!

1. Highly improved 3D

As the UPS (unique selling point) of the 3DS itself you'd of thought it would be the best it possibly could be, right? Well wrong. The 3DS' 3D feature was very lacklustre at best, using it for longer than 20 minutes gave you a chronic headache! Well, all that has disappeared with the New 3DS' version of 3D capability. The new feature now comes with complete 180 degree viewing angle allowing you to see the 3D pictures from more angles, rather than staring at the screen in a perfect line which was probably the main cause of headache. The other advantage of the new 3D feature is the fact that.. it actually works! Many times I have found my old 3DS just flat out not work with some games due to weird glitches and very picky viewing angles. I can safely say that these 2 very obnoxious problems have disappeared with the new improved 3DS.

2. Ergonomic Design

Have you ever held your 3DS for longer than 20 minutes and had pain in your hands that sort of felt like someone spot welding your palms? The sharp corners just dig right in the soft spot and renders you unplayable after the pain kicks in. The New 3DS however sits just perfectly and with its rounded off corners and smooth edges makes you think you're holding a new born baby.. only you know with more Legend of Zelda then regular babies.. shut up it's a metaphor.

3. Customisable Cover Plates

If you're like me, you tend to want your phone or laptop or console to have a cool background to make it look a bit different to everyone else. So buyers of the New 3DS will be glad to hear that the original cover plates shipped with the DS will be swap-able to a array of different designs. The plates replace the existing shell of the DS and provide the same amount of protection to the console, unfortunately they're not compatible with the New 3DSXL. My bet is sooner or later their will be company's willing to print custom pictures on the shells and ship them online just the same as iPhone covers, so prepare so waves of my little pony covers!

4. The New Games

I say new "games" but I mean game. Single. Yes, the only game created specifically to highlight the New 3DS' capability is Xeonblade chronicles which is just a port from the Wii Original, without altering the game play in any way but showing of the power and rendering of the New 3DS. I have high hopes that there will be a huge wave of exclusive New 3DS games to seem like the console is money well spent. This problem should not turn you off of buying the new console as more games are sure to come and the new upgrade is always nice even if not needed!

5. Amiibo Support

So just like the WiiU console the New 3DS has Amiibo capability which is great! Anything that can justify my spending of £500 + on plastic figures will make me feel happy! In serious thought the Amiibo support is good but very few games have anything to offer with the NFC so at this point in time it feels wasted. This again, is a case of waiting for more games to integrate them into play but having the upgrade available is always fun to mess around with from time to time!

All-in-all I still highly recommend the New 3DS for the main visual upgrades and improved console design! The lack of games and Amiibo support are not reasons to turn away from the New 3DS but are something to bare in mind while deciding!

Star Wars Battlefront Limited Edition PS4!?

Today, pictures emerged from Playstation's twitter showing of a BRAND NEW limited edition Playstation 4! The photo shows of the black console with the Darth Vader graphic along with the controller styling the black and red trim referencing Darth Vaders signature colours! This custom console is the standard 500GB but comes bundled with the deluxe edition of StarWars Battlefront aswell as four classic Star Wars games! Pre-orders for the console start on November the 17th so be sure to not miss out!

Star Wars Episode XII Poster Revealed!

A couple of days ago we were blessed by the release of this BRAND new movie poster for the upcoming Star Wars episode XII! The photo shows of our new hero's along side the new Sith Lord! 

As you can see Finn (LEFT) is shown to be holding a lightsaber indicating he will be our new Jedi master, which is a little strange figuring he was the first storm trooper to be shown in the release trailer from a couple months ago! Pictured bottom is the famous Han Solo who was confirmed to be a major plot character in the film, However I cant help but notice Chewbacca, Luke and Leia are missing despite being confirmed as Movie cast? All facts and theory's aside I can not wait for this film and deeply hope it fits well with the rest of this beloved Saga

Fallout Shelter For Android Has Arrived

Just like promised, Bethesda has finally released their hit mobile game, Fallout shelter, for Andoird. The Vault building game was exclusive to iOS but brings all that fun and joy of watching people being stuck underground to Android users. The game is Free-to-Play with micro transactions to buy lunch boxes which provide items and bonus' to the player. The game made 5.1m in its first two weeks JUST from these transactions.

This week, photos emerged from the set of Captain America 3: Civil War. The photos released show T'challa A.K.A Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, Climbing a building in full costume! 

Captain America is set to release May 2016 and is a huge part of Marvels phase 3 cinematic universe.

NEW leaked footage for Fallout 4.. on Pornhub?

A recording of the upcoming game Fallout 4 was secretly taken during a closed doors showing at Gamescon 2015 and was spread all around the internet reaching places like Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and just about any other file sharing website!

The amateur footage isnt really the best qaulity and is mostly of the back of other journalist heads bobbing up and down but we do get a clear view of the player slaying zombies, using pick locks, making guns and using his pipboy, which is good enough for footage we haven't seen before. So how have people been viewing this footage? Pornhub. The footage was posted to the adult website and has not been taken down like it has been from the rest of the websites.

Now clearly I can not share the video with you for 2 reasons:

1. Its a Pornhub link.. you have the internet right there.
2. Bethesda's legal team are working around the clock to get this footage and anybody who shares it taken down.

So why is it still on Pornhub you ask? We really dont know why, Bethesda have taken the footage down from Youtube multiple times and this one still remains! Maybe they have the site blocked on their company network or maybe they're too embarrassed to go to Pornhub at work and show how many times they have already been there?

Steam handheld console gets price and release date!

How many times have you wanted to take your Steam games with you on that long car journey or to a friends house without lugging your gaming rig with you? well now Valve have come up with a simple solution to that.. I'll be it, an expensive solution but a solution nether the less! The handheld system known as the "Steam Boy" had very little detail revealed about it in the past but this week brings us the core things we need to know!

For starters the Steam Boy will now be called the Smach Zero and will be available to pre-order in October-December (Fourth quarter) of 2016 from just $299, However, Valve have confirmed this price will ONLY apply to those who pre-order the system and have explained "those who buy after release will pay a bit more". Now I doubt they'll rocket the price to that of a Actual gaming computer but I have a feeling it will be close enough to a next gen console at around $350.

A concept picture of the model has been shared with us but is still unconfirmed if this is the final design. Many have compared it to that of a PS Vita and I totally agree with them but I can't shake this image of those old kids toys you would get in the UK in which you pressed buttons to create bubbles to move little plastic rings around but that may just be me.. anybody from the UK know what im on about? no? I certainly like the design of the handheld but I just can't get my head around how or why you would want to play games such as Civ V or C&C with such a little screen and limited controls.

First renders for StarFox Zero!

These official renders pop'ed up online this morning and give us a first look at just how detailed the upcoming Starfox game is going to be! Many have talked about the game being mainly focused on gameplay and not worrying to much about the graphics but these pictures show us they decided to do both!

Halo wars 2 announcement trailer! The Brute force!

You may remember a little game made by Bungie which kinda got fan mad, an RTS set in the Halo universe.. for console? yes Halo Wars. The game that was never really accepted into the hearts of die hard Halo fans but loved by most others. Halo Wars was a game with very mixed reviews being hated by RTS players and Halo fans and mega loved by people who enjoyed fun games without being snarky nerds.

Halo wars 2 was announced at Gamescon this year and again.. very mixed reviews being hated by the same groups of people, However, this time the good outweighs the bad and the game got quite a lot of people excited as after going back to the first game they realized it wasn't so bad! I personally loved Halo Wars, I enjoyed making waves after waves of scorpion tanks and shelling my friends in the first few minutes of the game! Mafia 3 reveal trailer! Clinton and old Vito look badass!

About a week ago 2KUK announced we would see a squeal to the hit game Mafia 2 and many speculated if we'd see Vito again and follow his crazy gangster adventures. today we learned that, yes we would see Vito again but.. old, still bad ass.. but old. Vito is just 1 of 4 Lt.s for the new protagonist, Clinton, a half cast orphan who has tried many things to find some place to fit in, from going to the army to joining black gangs. Mafia 3 is set in the 1960's and brings us a brand new, colorful New Orleans with great music and sweet cars. The story follows Clinton as he recruits and starts his own mob during this tough time of extreme racism and massive drug crime. The game is set to release for Xbox one, PS4 and PC. No news for a date but 2016 is a confirmed year. More news and information is soon to come about the game and we'll bring it to you on the day! Starwars Battlefront dog fight mode trailer/gameplay!

EA's big budget Star Wars Battlefront is their main focus at the moment and they're making sure they don't annoy any fans.. well at least they tried to. It was announced that there wouldn't be space battles included in the game and this lead to a lot..more hate towards EA. To counter all the negative thoughts towards the game they announced Dog fight mode. a 20 player air ship based team death match where players are not aloud out of the vehicles. The likes of hero space ships were rumored but are not confirmed as playable characters. Han solo and Boba Fett are the only 2 to be confirmed as of yet. Brand New DeadPool full length trailer! Wade Wilson, the testicle with teeth!

You may recall the other day when 20th century released a little 2 minute trailer of DeadPool sat in a fancy arm chair talking about the DeadPool movie breaking the 4th walk as he always does. The teaser was to hype us up for the real trailer and.. well it work BECAUSE THIS TRAILER IS SO AWESOME! If you're even the slightest bit fan of DeadPool I can promise you'll be loading your walls with posters and buying as many T-shirts as your bank balance allows after seeing this trailer.
