Batman Arkham Knight PC version pulled from steam and retailers

It's been just about a week and already the problems with Rocksteady's new instalment to the Batman Arkham series have been flooding in and boy are they big game breaking "bugs". Now these problems come from ONLY the PC version of Batman and have no been reported for consoles.

So literally the day the game was released Arkham Knight was floating around an unsteady 20FPS and this problem was even for those with the highest spec'd computers. Many more problems were reported such as major stuttering and frequent crashing and basically rendering the game unplayable.

The game being pulled comes days after the publishers post where they acknowledged the problems fans were having and simply recommended setting and that players didn't tamper with ini. files on risk of corruption of game data. Players were less than pleased with the post as they basically told them it wasn't their fault and that it was the PC's problem when it most clearly was not.

Rocksteady has since pulled the game from Steam and retailers for the PC version only and have their best team working 24/7 to get the game fixed. Hopefully they sort this out as they game has been much anticipated instalment with the new addition of the Batman mobile and a major graphic overhaul along with a brand new villain!

2000 bottle caps later he got his Fallout 4!

So who remembers GatorMacheteJR who posted pictures to Reddit telling us how he had saved up 7 years worth of bottles caps after becoming a fan of the 2007 hit game Fallout 3. Gator had sent them over 11 pounds worth of bottle caps with a note attached explaining this was his payment for Fallout 4, which was revealed earlier this month at E3 2015. Bethesda has posted pictures to their twitter as proof that the caps have arrived and have decided he will get his copy in November as recognition for being the first to try this so before you start hoarding your caps, Bethesda have explained they shall not be doing this again it was only due to the fans dedication and originality.

We learned a lot about the new instalment of the Fallout series such as the game will be capped at 30FPS and that the game will not be on last gen consoles

Last night the brand new trailer for the Movie adaptation of the hit game, Hitman, was released and it looks crazy sick! The trailer shows 47 and his quest to find our new heroin and show her inner power as an agent. Agents for the those who don't know are genetically modified soldiers raised from children to be the fastest, strongest and wisest  assassins also known as a Hitman.

The film is jam packed with action scenes and explosions which i cant help but feel they're blowing their load a bit early but makes me think that's all their is to this movie? Don't get me wrong I loved action based movies but for a film about a silent assassins I cant help feel like it should be hush hush sneaky sneaky with a great story line rather than loud noises and fire everywhere, but that's just my opinion I'm sure what ever direction the film goes in will be amazing.

The Division BETA sign-up!

Publishers of Tom Clancy's The Division, have opened a sign-up waiting list for open BETA. It's first come first served to be among the few to play when it launches on XboxOne in December.

The BETA starts on Xbox One with timed exclusively in December with PC and PS4 coming in the early months of 2016. The Division is a 4 player co-op shooter/survival set in a post apocalyptic world, thankfully not zombies. The game is set for release in March 2016.

The “Ultimate” PlayStation 4!

PlayStation have officially announced their ultimate edition of their “next gen” console, the PS4. The official PlayStation blog have told us there will be double the storage space for all your beloved games and apps. The news comes to us just 1 week after the biggest games conference, E3. This was a little surprising but also good to hear because this means they had a vote a decided that showing off new games was more important than a new hardware version.  

This move made by PlayStation could be in light of Microsoft’s same announcement of their 1tb version of the Xbox One with elite controller, however, PlayStation offer nothing at all extra with the upgrade as well as NO price drop for old systems.

This does create the opportunity to grab yourselves a cheap 500GB PS4 at local retailers with the price hike of the new system putting old systems down in price to some shops. Check retailers near you for deals and price drops.

Skyrim multiplayer is here!?

Skyrim, the much anticipated game from Bethesda, released a few years ago back in ’11 was and still is one of the most played games around all platforms, but pc have it different, they have mods. Now mods are a fun way to add your favourite weapons and silly followers but mostly for acting out the very best quests made by the greatest modders out there. Mods for Skyrim range in the hundreds of thousands.

So how many times have you wondered around Skyrim and thought... boy wouldn’t murdering a town full of innocents be MUCH more fun with my pals? Well now that’s kind of possible with a budding new mod called “Tameriel online”.  A mod that allows you to traverse the land of Skyrim with your friends but at its current state that’s all that you can do, combat and quest lines are currently unavailable, However mods are aloud. Mods can be shared throughout the game as long as each player has them installed.

This mod is very much in is beginning stage, and the creator, Siegfre, is looking for help with testing and creation on the mod. You can download the mod HERE but do not expect flying colours from this.

Fallout 4 will run at 30 FPS?!

(UPDATE) Todd Howard Has confirmed that while Xbox one and PS4 will run 30FPS, PC will not be restricted in any sort of way.

Bethesda creative director Todd Howard told digital spy in the an interview that the upcoming Fallout 4, the post-apocalyptic survival game, would run at 1080P but at 30FPS on PC, Xbox and PS4 opposed to 60FPS.

The news came as a shock to the PC master race as they’re used to having everything in 60FPS and modding it in if not included so PC gamers where never really angry about it. I highly doubt the PC version will only support 30FPS as these games selling points are the vast open worlds with great detail and great performance, a real RIG tester if you will. SO why on earth would they limit you to 30FPS when you have spent hundreds of £/$ for your RIG. Console gamers on the other hand, well you guys have to put up with it, there’s no frame rate mods for you and probably won’t be but you guys are used to this problem. As unfair as it comes seeing as you too have spent hundreds of £/$ on your consoles, its just the way they develop the games.

 Fallout 4 is a game that’s been anticipated for quite a while now after the huge success of 2008’s Fallout 3 and 2010 Fallout: New Vegas. The game was shown of in a great spot light at this year’s E3, Bethesda held their very first press conference and people went mad for it! So let’s think about why consoles have to run the game at 30FPS instead of 60FPS. This can be down to consoles facing massive hardware problems compared to PC rigs custom built and constantly being upgraded, but could this be because they plan to include mods on consoles? Maybe the inclusion of mods and programs needed to support them will take up the power to run the game in 60FPS?

Games that would be great in Lego!

So everybody loves the lego games right? So why do they only choose the obvious choices when it comes to lego-lizing the movies. Yes okay the lego Star wars and LOTR games are brilliant but Ninjago and Lego movie game? Come on they were easily the biggest waste of time when they could of had a million better ideas! So these are my ideas for movies or Tv shows that could have their universe bricked up! I know number 1 already has a lego play set but that's just more of a reason for a game right?

Tmnt

So yeah Im aware they already lego play sets but wouldn't they give more of a reason for a sewer crawling, roof top jumping LEGO game. There's many adventures the team went on in movies and comic books so would be no end of level ideas as well as the ability to make your own turtle? His own coloured mask and ninja weapon!

Game of thrones

Everybody loves GoT and with season 5 ending I'd say now is a good cut of point for a great LEGO game with all the battles and deaths.. but obviously in LEGO so less gore. Many people have created fan favourites out of existing pieces and they do look quite good so all we need now is dragon figures and a brilliant game to go with it.

The Walking Dead

The walking dead is a bit trickier to make missions out of but would work great as an open world survival kind of like the up coming LEGO worlds with base building and customization, fighting hordes of zombies and finding enough supply's to stay alive. the figures made by fans are not as great as others but still enough to give an idea of how these would turn out. I think in general I picked this idea on the basis that i want to kill hundreds of LEGO zombies?

Toy story

Now this idea is one of my favourites.. playing as the toys that wonder the room makes 10x more sense if you're playing as a toy found in every kids room! Building structures in the rooms to go with the feel of playtime and mega customization and mission based of Andy's imagination and the toys adventures from the films. 

Ben 10 

But on the other hand.. whos better to fit the role of the multi changing characters of a lego mission? BEN 10 of course! Missions from all the cartoon series with all his hero's new and old. Fans have made figures for this which are mega blocks but you get the idea. This idea really makes me want a good BEN 10 game for once.

Nintendo's E3 Reveals! ALL TRAILERS LISTED!

I think the Nintendo digital event was the one i was looking forward to the most.. but i was deeply let down. I'm not saying their games were bad but, they were kinda just all JRPG's or games we'd seen before with a little new gameplay. Nintendo can do no wrong in my books but to be honest, I didnt see anything that i liked or anything worth looking more into. I'm not alone on this one as many across the internet are let down at what Nintendo have done this year.

Starwars Battlefront - A first look at the CO-OP

We got a pretty good look at the battle elements of the up coming battlefront game from EA at this years E3, but the question that's been on everyone's mind, what will the single player be like? Will it take on the form of a modern day FPS shooter or go back to its roots as a player Vs bots skirmish!

The answer.. modern day shooter. Now before you tear out your hair and eat it, there's a little good that comes from this. Haven't you always wanted a really great star wars game with amazing scale missions and a great story sort of like Republic Commandos, well this is just that. The trailer shows of 2 rebels fighting their way through storm troopers desperately trying to reach supply drop pods using jet packs and shield generators and a range of weapons And better yet ITS CO-OP, so you and your friends can jump in and fight the empire

Xbox one backwards comparability confirmed!

During the Microsoft press conference they had a big announcement to make and it's something we've wanted for a while now!

Confirmed for Xbox one users is The ability to play all your Xbox 360 games on your Xbox one console with and without retail disc! It's as simple as putting the disc in the tray and letting it install and jumping right in! Titles will also start to appear on the xbox store ready for download. This is starts later this year and people can not wait to jump back into games such as Read dead redemption, Halo reach and many many more! 

And that question that's burning a hole in your mouth.. YES IT HAS ALL ITS ONLINE MULTIPLAYER FUNCTIONS AND CROSS PLAFORM CONNECTION! Meaning you can play against others on 360 with your Xbox one! 

Bethesda E3 2015 reveal list! ALL TRAILERS LISTED

DOOM

Do I really have to tell you what DOOM is!? that one game that started this whole FPS craze off back in the 90's. Well Bethesda gave it a make over and remastered and boy does it look brilliant! DOOM has been a life long favourite for many and over the years it had gotten a bit stale and boring trying to fit in with the rest of the modern day shooters with dark corridors and basic game play but this reboot really kicks it back into gear and gets the real feel of gory shooting spare marine fun.

DOOM SNAPMAP

So with the new DOOM, Bethesda decided it needs a way for people to express their creative side by letting us build up our own maps and game types. This feature comes packaged with the new DOOM game and is pretty similar to Halo's forge mode.

Dishonored 2

Now Dishonored was a brilliant original stealth'em up with a steam punky twist! I loved the first game with its magic powers the game play was a hell of a lot of fun compared to the likes of the THIEF reboot. The new feature of this title is the ability to change between two characters, Emily and Corvo so im excited to see how that will change gameplay, maybe a CO-OP mode? I hope.

ESO UPDATES

A big Elder Scrolls online update is coming, not much was talked or shown about it apart from the new area, The fallen Imperial city. I'm not a huge fan of ESO so take a look for yourself as I didn't pay to much attention baring in mind it was 4am where I'm from.

ELDER SCROLLS LEGENDS

ESL is a strategy card game baring much resemblance to blizzards Hearthstone, again im not a huge fan of these types of games but this one really got my attention with the concept art and original design of the cards and characters. Not much was shown gameplay wise but we can grasp what the gameplay will be like from other strategy card games.

BATTLECRY

So this title will be the competitor for the likes of SMITE, DOTA and many other F2P MOBA's. Look to be a steam punk styled online arena battling game much like the others, Not a huge fan of 3rd person MOBA's compared to top down style. FALLOUT 4

Do I need to say anything about Fallout 4? you all watched the trailer and probably caught up on gameplay trailers but just in case.. here it is.

Now I hate to tell you i told you so.. but I told you so, my ideas for fallout where silly like buildable homes and customizable armour and guns and people made fun of me and slated my blog and ideas.. but here they are.

Christopher Lee Passes at 93, a small tribute to his best work!

So today the news broke out the Christopher Lee, a beloved actor in the nerd universe passed away at the age of 93. Everyone has their favorite character  he prorate and he will be sorely missed! i threw together a few of my favorite scenes from his nerdy films and thought id share them with you guys! Remember to listen to his music and watch his best films as a way to say thank you for all the hard work!

GTA V Update: Ill gotten gains, super cars and deluxe jets

The free ill-gotten gains update adds a lot of new stuff to GTA V including a bunch of super cars to the story and multiplayer mode and went live today! This is part 1 of a few updates that turns our Los Santos villains in to minted multi-millionaires. Included in the XBOX ONE, PS4 and PC versions is the ability to sip Champaign in the back of the new deluxe jets as well as “hundreds” of new clothing options and a few new guns!

Rockstar encourages you to shoot the place up in style, rewarding you extra REP and in game cash starting June 12th to June 14^th as well as 75% off high end apartments!

WAVE 5 AMIIBO RELEASED PICTURES!?

A single person managed to get his hands on some Japan released Amiibo's due in wave 5 and they look absolutely brilliant! Included are listed (left to right)

Now these come from Japan and only Japan for the time being so dont get to excited yet. These models looks amazing in detail and are sure some of the best sculptures. Only a few Amiibo's match the quality of these. Now im all aboard throwing my money at plastic figures to sit on my shelf and boy have i done just that! this wave 5 has been some of the few that have gotten my really really excited! unfortunately i do not know the details of releases for Europe and North America so keep checking Nintendos site for details!

My Predictions and Hopes for E3!

With E3 around the corner everyone’s getting hyped to see if they’re favorite franchise makes it into this year’s press conference in the hopes of seeing new game play! Well this year I’ve taken into account last year’s show offs and put together a list of game I hope to see footage off!

  Legend of Zelda WiiU

Last year we got a bit of footage filmed off a TV with voice overs. It Looks great but there wasn’t really a good chance to evaluate the game and really get a feel of what it will be like. This year’s E3 I really hope they have a good half hours’ worth of footage from the new title showing us maybe a random dungeon that generated in game, as the creators have explained will happen. As a long time Zelda fan I have hoped and hoped for more news about this title and yet nothing has come up.. I got a good feeling about E3.

  Fallout 4

So with the recent hype of Bethesda much anticipated follow up to 2008’s super hit fallout 3, a post-apocalyptic RPG, A lot of people have talked about whether or not this year’s E3 will be the first of Bethesda’s press conferences where they show off game play of an upcoming game. I’m a bit skeptical due to the fact Bethesda don’t normally do this kind of thing, they tend to do their own reveals and announcements but who knows, we can always hope!

Owning a 3DS is a risky choice for gamers.. Are there enough games to make it worth the money? And the answer is yes..  Just once you expand your taste to JRPG’s and puzzle games.  Normally I don’t like playing these types of games but I thought id give it ago and to my surprise really liked it, it reminded me of my times playing Advanced Wars on the Game boy and something about it and they story just draw you in.

    Mirrors Edge 2

Having loved the 1^st person free running simulator I was ecstatic when EA announced the 2^nd would be coming along in the comings years. I really am hoping they have game play to show us in this years show. There’s something about the simplistic game of running and jumping that changes the pace from shooting and ducking behind concrete walls.

            Super Smash Bro’s WiiU/3DS DLC Packs

So they added Mew Two and Lucas back into the game by popular demand and recently put up a poll asking for your choices of character to fill the roster with, Many voted for silly characters but most had brilliant ideas. This year’s show im expecting a DLC pack, a couple community characters they voted in and a few maps associated with the new titles they show off maybe.

Mirrors edge 2? OR Mirrors edge: Catalyst

Mirrors edge 1 released back in 2008 and soon became a popular game due to its original concept of 1st person parkour and for the longest time felt like it deserved a follow up sequel. Now mirrors edge didn't exactly have a nut gripped story that really got you stuck in.. it was more about doing sweet jumps and slides in 1st person!

Last year our dream came true and EA announced the sequel and all was great with a little teaser trailer. However today new details arose confirming Mirrors edge 2 would not be the title of the game and it would not be a direct sequel, yet a remastering of the game mechanics with a following story line. The title of the new 1^st person parkour simulator would be called Mirrors Edge: Catalyst and will build on the game play and expand the way we play 1^st person games!

Sara Jansson had this to say

 “Mirror’s Edge has always had a special place in the hearts of all of us at DICE. The first game had a lot of promise. It was unlike anything else in terms of the game play and style — it had a unique soul. But as much as we loved that game, we knew it could be more. So that’s what we have set out to do as we introduce Mirror’s Edge to a new generation.

“The team has spent a lot of time re-evaluating every aspect of the game and making it a new experience. This is not a sequel; this is not Mirror’s Edge 2. We have landed on a vision that honours the first game — pushing the boundaries of first person movement and diving deeper into the story behind our heroine Faith — but also brings a lot of great new, interesting gameplay and features to the experience for our players.”

This news comes to us weeks before the popular games convention E3 so maybe they have a little game play in store to show us! Let’s hope so! 

Fallout 4 for Xbox 360 and PS3?.. No.

So there's no doubt you heard about Bethesda's fallout 4, and yes, hurray we're all excited. Fallout 4's countdown website and official page had a few details on the game and only listed coming to platforms: Xbox ONE, PS4 and PC and this lead to people wonderign about last gen consoles.
Well Matt Grandstaff cleared this up by saying the following

"It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we’re doing will never work there," Bethesda's global community manager Matt Grandstaff said in a NeoGAF thread.

Now remember this is the internet and people will fling their shit at anything the slightly disagree with, however the game not coming to last gen does this game wonders. In the past certain game *cough* watch dogs *cough* and many more including the recent Witcher 3 and The order 1866. These games were shown of at E3 with nothing but stunning graphics and come release day look like chicken scribbles by people who recently had brain surgery and the main reason.. PC could make the games look 10X better where as consoles couldn't keep up performance wise. and for this they bring all the games quality down so one system doesn't out do the others.

Xbox One prepares for the "future"

If you logged into your Xbox One this morning you'd of been greeted with a update.. so whats changed? a new feature? does it finally fix how slow the menus load? is your XBONE finally a 200gb kill droid? NO.

the update doesn't change anything for us. not a thing. Instead this update is behind the curtains deal and will only tweek Xbox performance and due to tweets sent out by +Larry Hryb, Xbox Live's Major Nelson, this will "prepare for the future"

This update comes to us just around the corner from E3, maybe this update has certain features only to be released after the show?

Things i hope Star Wars Battlefront includes 

Space battles

So everyone knows the space battles wont be returning from battlefront 1 & 2, and its such a shame to lose a core feature on the terms of EA thinking it wont sit right with a modern day FPS. This feature was a backbone of battlefront 2 and was loved throughout the community and they strip it based on their own thoughts? listen to the people EA we want to fly the falcon and make our own chewy noises!!.. even if its DLC i'd still buy that.

Class customization

Renegade squadron had it right, it was a little off but a very very fun aspect of the game! Making my Storm troopers black and red was a massive highlight and putting together my own gear made warfare a 100 time more fun! 

A decent sized campaign

Battlefront 2 had an okay campaign, a bit repetitive but as a whole it was good. I'd like to see missions including iconic battles on massive scales with vehicles like AT-ATS! cut scenes and actual objectives would help it along but if not, capturing points over and over is still a fun way to play battlefront!

CO-OP missions  

Now what elese goes with the massive scale campaign battles? CO-OP missions with challenging objectives! sort of like MW2 Spec Ops feature, just.. with more wompas and star destroyers. Even if it was just co-op private matches making a return as talk of taking them out was circling.

Things i want to see in Fallout 4

So we've seen the trailer for fallout 4 and many people have done breakdown trailers of what to expect but this list is the features i wish they'd add even thought i know they probably wont. Yes i know some of them dont make sense to the storyline or settings but i just think they'd mix the game up a bit!

NO VAT system

The VAT system was fallout 3's main combat technique and if im honest, it was a little boring. Theres nothing like watching super mutants heads explode but, watching a mini bullet time camera do it for me wasn't the same. Id like to do it myself for once and get more joy from the kills and yes i know you didn't have to use it but it was the easy way out and taking the feature out all together means learning how to shoot like a man!

Multiple companions or gangs

companions in a game like Fallout or Skyrim can make the difference of life and death in most cases and most of the time just an extra backpack to carry all those potions or ammo you defiantly will need at some point in the future.. NO I DONT HAVE A HOARDING PROBLEM! But wouldn't it be great if they served a real purpose? A gang? a partner you'd have to train up? imagine walking around with matching armour and taking out a group of gouls for a couple of caps. Make the AI a little less janky and they'll fit right in!

Build-able homes DLC

This ideas steams completely from the Skyrim expansion, Hearthfire. To date one of the best DLC's for a game and that is solely because of the freedom to design! A house in fallout wouldn't fit into the story you say? why not? build a shack to store items and rest or sqaut in a burning out building with some make-shift doors? THAT would be an amazing DLC and id be the first to buy it!

A much better gear and upgrade system

now there's always been something that puts me off fallout games and thats the gear and guns, how very plain and boring they are for the first 20ish levels until you get power armour. The elder scrolls games have hundreds of gear to collect and maybe fallout could do with a touch of that? a bunch of mad max style plate armours with tiers and the entire upgrading system to the guns. Im just saying it'd make finding loot a lot more worth the time it took in fallout 3.

Race choices

Yes i said it. I WANNA PLAY AS A GOUL. i want race choices just like Skyrim, I'm not saying i wanna play as a bug-snake type thing but just a few choices to change fallouts character creator up?
Each coming with perks, just like in Skyrim to help certain players get their play style

Captain America 3 WITHOUT Nick Fury?

So don't panic to much Samuel L. Jackson is still looking to renew his marvel contract as he only has 2 films left on his MCU 9 picture deal!

Jackson had claimed his character will take this movie off and had this to say.

 "I’m not in Captain America 3. I can’t figure that out, but I’m not,” he said. "I guess I’m still out there, trying to figure out what happened to S.H.I.E.L.D. and who these other people are.”

Now this comes as a big surprise as Nick Fury (Jackson character) was a vital part of Captain America 2: The winter solider, and taking that he is the head of S.H.I.E.L.D, or whats left of it, and normally he's the first to jump in when beef has gone down between hero's in comics and cartoons. 

The decision to leave him out could also come from the fact that the actor roster is already mighty big with A-LIST stars such as..

Going on my own memory from a couple of years or so ago i can't remember or confirm Fury was even in civil war comics but if he was and the decisions comes from budget or actor space problems it would be a sore loss to the story!

Captain America 3: civil war is shooting for a April 29, 2016 UK release. But we can expect to see more of S.L.J as Jackson's reuniting with Quentin Tarantino for his new film "The Hateful Eight"

NEW Ant Man Stills released!

Empire magazines latest  issue was a superhero special and revealed these new stills from Marvels Ant Man due to be released on July 17th. Paul Rudd plays Scott Lang who owns the abilities to shrink down to insect size and still carry his human weight!

I had my doubts about this film but these new stills have really got me excited!
