Mafia 3 finally happening!

Tuesday brought us the announcement of the sequel to the 1940's mobster action/adventure RPG. 2K games UK announced Mafia 3 via twitter picture and explained the game would to be shown at Gamescon in August! The picture shown to us was of 5 people in a empty yard backlit by cars like in popular Mafia style films! Many have been waiting for this game since the release of Mafia 2, a brilliant game with stunning graphics and mechanics, for last gen consoles!

New Spectre Trailer! 007 action packed and looks great!

The official 007 James Bond Youtube channel put out the newest trailer for the upcoming film Spectre staring Daniel Craig again! The trailer shows us the newest adventure and villain James bond faces!

Fallout 4 PipBoy edition is gone for good!

This year at Quake Con, Bethesda's Marketing VP, Pete Hines, told Gameespot.com that if you weren't able to get a collectors edition, featuring the PipBoy replica, then you are out of luck because there isn't anymore being made.

They had asked why they haven't been restocked in a while and replied by explaining that "factories have hit their limits" he went on to say talks with the factories producing them have revealed that they simply can not make anymore of these things.

Pete talked about people asking him why they had only made a few thousand of the editions to which he replied "No we did a ton of these things, so many i think we made more than any other collectors edition ever made by Bethesda"

The game is priced at $120 but is sold out everywhere in UK and USA. Fallout 4 is set to release on November 10th.

Spaltoon's brand new content! new guns and game modes!

Nintendo have announced that 5th/6th of August will bring us a free update to the popular game Splatoon. The update will contain 2 new game modes aswell as 2 new weapons and over 40 new pieces of gear to customize your squidling with! The biggest part and possible the most requested addition to the game is a higher level cap from 20 to 50.

The 2 new weapons included are:

The Slosher: A paint bucket type weapon capable of attacking through walls with a slow attack speed.

the Splatling: a 6 barrel chain gun with a high fire rate using a lot of ink.

The game modes added with the content are something requested by just about everyone who has played the game, Squad battles and Private matches. Being able to play with friends in the same team and making private matches to fool around with friends in a game with your own rules is something every shooter needs and splatoon just seemed to leave out. Squad battles allows for teams of 2-4 players and insures that you will always be on the same team and again other teams.

Nintendo have teasted that there is more free content on its way to us and to be honest im hoping for endurance type game modes with much longer time limits and bigger maps.

The Official ps4 keyboard and mouse?

A few days ago I had wrote an article about the Xbox one maybe getting keyboard and mouse support . Now comes the news for PS4 as Hori, a licensed video game company has revealed pictures of a small based set up that mimics the PC WASD set-up. Titled , The Assault Commander 4, it provides a range of keys along with extras added to suit the PlayStation controller.

The controller/keyboard is set to release sometime in October, about the same time as the big holiday rush for games and just in time for Black Ops 3. The set up will be priced at £86 so thats about $130.

Nintendo TVii shuts its doors!

Latest Announcement from Nintendo was that they are going to shut off their TV service. This is planned to happen at 3PM PDT on the 11th of August.

"We sincerely thank you for all of your engagement within the community and the Nintendo TVii service," a Nintendo representative said on Miiverse. "We look forward to your contributions within our many other Miiverse communities." 

The service will be gone for good and no news whether or not will be updated with a new service of the same kind. Its a shame to see it go after just 3 years even if people didn't really like the TV service.

Fallout anthology: 5 games and a collectable fat man nuke!

During QaukeCon2015 Bethesda's Pete Hines announced the upcoming Fallout anthology, a collection of the previous 5 games, all for PC, in a collectible fat man nuke case! The nuke will be made from resin and metal and features a sound effect to be played. No information on how big the model is but is big enough to hold 5 game cases and a spot for your fallout 4 disc when the game is released in November!

The package includes Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout tactics, Fallout 3 GOTY edition and Fallout New Vegas ultimate edition all for PC.

The anthology will be priced at $50 and released on:

September 29th for USA
October 1st for Australia
October 2nd for Europe

Xbox One might get full mouse and keyboard support?

Today, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer confirmed to a fan on twitter that he likes the idea of PC > Xbox One streaming but doesn't have any plans as of yet, however he agreed that full mouse support would be needed to go along with the support for keyboard added in a recent update.

 Full keyboard and mouse support might not be so great if able to used with consoles games as having the accuracy and extra keys provides a slight advantage in some cases on FPS and RTS.

Dont expect to be able to use all your macros any time in the near future as Spencer confirmed their focus is for Xbox One > PC streaming for now.

Dishonored definitive edition is only $20 for ps4 owners?

With the definitive edition of Dishonored 1 available to preorder, Playstation has given the option to upgrade from PS3 edition to the PS4 edition at the price of $20 instead of buying the game full price. This option only appears if you own Dishonored 1 on PS3. This deal saves you 50% of the original price on 39.99. The game releases on August 25th and wil take up a whopping 30GB of space but includes all DLC along with HD textures and resolutions.

How Long would it take to finish your Steam library?

If you're part of the PC master race then you probably have a massive catalogue of Steam games. but like everyone else, there are those few games you buy, play an hour off and uninstall forever because it was like a £1 or something. So have you ever wondered how long it would take to get your moneys worth by completing them all?

A new website titled "How long to beat steam!" takes your Steam ID and calculates your current rate of play for all your games and average play time of each game and tells you how long it would take to complete all your games.

For example my Steam library would take 4 weeks 2 days and 6 hours to complete with 24/7 playtime.

Cake Wars does Mario Maker?

A popular TV show in American titled Cake Wars is similar to those we have in the UK and features a team of bakers competing to bake a cake with a very strict set of rules of appearance and style! Teams go head to head to produce the best cake they can and then judged by expert bakers to determine who has won.

Tonight at 8PM EDT/5 PM PDT, airs an episode all about.. Mario? yes. The show has brought Nintendo of America's Krysta Yang along in to be a judge to see whose cake rescues the princess and whose cake goes down the warp pipe! The episode is being used to promote the upcoming Mario Maker game due to release in September!

Here's how you can help honor Iwata with a new Smash Bros. Character!

Nintendo fans everywhere were shaken up by the tragic passing of Saturo Iwatas passing and many have used their creative skills to make art and games to tribute to the wonderful man who brought them their childhood. So as we all know Smash brothers was one of the few games that Iwata helped bring to life before coming CEO of Nintendo, along with balloon fight. 

At the moment Smash Bros. has a ballot where players can vote in their favorite character from past Nintendo games and many have started a petition to have people vote for Ballon fight to memory of Iwata. This would be the greatest tribute for Iwata to always have this in memory of his great achievements.

Prototype 1 and 2 bundle for current gen!?

Activision has released news that the current gen consoles will be getting a bundle of both the Prototype games in full HD vital remastering with perfected frame rate and increased texture resolution.

The pack will be titled "Bizhazard bundle" and will feature both Prototype 1 and 2 with the DLC available at a later date. The bundle will stand at $49.99 with a 17GB download and are available from both the Xbox ONE and PS4 online market.

Saturo Iwata passes at the age of 55, Beloved by everyone for everything he did.

Nintendo announced today some tragic news of Iwatas passing, he died at the age of just 55 of cancer. Iwata was at the biggest gaming convention E3 just a few weeks ago and showed no sign of distress or gave any clue to anything being wrong. It was said he had undergone an operation to remove the tumour and all was well after a few week of rest and recovery.

This news comes as a shock to everyone as nobody suspected a thing from this upbeat, happy and generally all round fun guy. Many people are upset of his passing as he practically gave most people their childhood and created some of the franchises people worship today.

He started in Nintendo in the 80s as a programmer and worked his way up to president in 2002 and promised to keep everyone happy with fun games for all ages and he did just that. Iwatas biggest success while at Nintendo were the Nintendo DS and Wii, making such iconic consoles paved a whole new way for casual gamers into the light of console and competitive gaming.

Many people on social media have expressed their great-fullness for Iwata and shared stories of their past thanking him deeply. He shall be missed and forever loved by all gamers.

Apocalypse Meow, iOS indie game review!

Recently I was given a chance to Beta test an upcoming indie game on iOS titled Apocalypse Meow! The game is a old school hell fire style game where you take the place of a group of space dogs on a mission to rescue the last humans from the traitorous cats.

The game is developed by a little 4 man studio called SplitCell games, based in San Francisco, California. The game has been in production for the last 9 months and is soon coming to the app store in the summer.

So the game itself, a whole lot of fun with face paced action and useful game mechanics. The inclusion of collecting materials throughout levels and using it for upgrades really has the effect to make you come back and try again instead of getting mad and turning it off. I really enjoyed the boss battles with the cats as they had really original patterns to dodge and didn't feel like they were going easy on you like most iOS games do these days.

The controls for the game are the basic from these hell fire type games just moving left right up and down to dodge the millions of billions of bullets that come your way. However using your finger to move around can be a bit sticky if you have sweaty fingers so I wouldn't mind a little on screen joy stick for the thumb maybe.

I was really impressed by the amount of  work and effort that was put into the visual graphics and voice acting to make the game to really make it feel like a game produced by a big time mobile developer like PopCap etc.

All in all the game is a lot of fun and a great way to pass time and a huge bonus that its all in HD with great voice acting and longevity with at least 10 levels instead of the regular rouge like, last as long as you can you usually get with these games.

The game will was created in their own custom engine and will be ported to android and consoles when the time comes! Apocalypse Meow will be available for download for iOS sometime in the start of the summer so make sure to check it out for an absolutely great game!

Here's why/how you can watch VR PORN at San Diego comic-con

Some of you might be wondering why we're covering this news and most will think "boobs 4 views" right? No. Its because ,Naughty America, a top American adult film business is showing of their new invention, VR porn at this year's San Diego's comic-con.

The video shown at the biggest multi-genre and comic convention was explained as "2 chicks and you" and leaves the rest for your imagination. The videos produced for the VR headsets have complete 180-degree stereoscopic head tracking for looking around the room in the video.. no idea why you would but at least it's immersive?

Now not sure what they're expecting people to do while watching the videos in a crowed booth while people watch and take notes but this is a path way to what they're hoping to change the adult business with. In the next coule of years they're hoping that VR porn will be accessible for those at home with a Google cardboard or Samsung VR.

They wish to point out this isnt porn tailored just for men , they have produced on woman's POV and are trying to cater for everyone's needs.

StarWars Battlefront 4K screenshots, Will your PC run it?

The guys over at www.allgamesbeta.com shared a album of 4K screenshots from the upcoming Battlefront and they look absolutely brilliant! The only problem might be running this beautiful game, running its massive resolution and huge scale battles could bring performance problems for regular gaming rigs.

Starwars Battlefront might just be the best game of this year and im hoping this game can still run beautifully on normal spec'd computers as well as a great on-line connection and a great experience.

Batgirl kicks butt in Arkham Knight first DLC trailer!

On July 14th get ready to knocks thugs around only this time in a slim line Batgirl suit! The first expansion for Rocksteady's title Arkham Knight release only last month is called "A Matter of Family" takes you into the position of Batgirl who is on a mission with Robin to rescue her father, Commissioner Gordon from.. you guessed it, the joker.. again. How you ask? Well this DLC is set prior to the events of Rocksteadys first entry Arkham asylum.

The DLC releases on July 14th for those with the Arkham Knight season pass and on the 21st for those without, setting you back $7.

The Predator joins Mortal Kombat X with FREE DLC

Monday brought us the official announcement of Mortal Kombats DLC pack! included will be The Predator from the classic films along with Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion and Carl Weather Jax character skins. The Pack will be free for those who bought the Kombat Pack and available today. For those who didn't however they will be available from the 14th of July for $8. Alternatives are buying the Predator for $5 or all 3 skins for $4

Also as a thankyou from The Mortal Kombat crew comes the FREE DLC the Klassic Fatality pack including four "klassic" fatalities from the original mortal kombat along with a free skin for Scorpion! The FREE DLC is available from today!

With San Diego comic-con aroudn the corner and Marvel CU, not making an appearance its up to WB and DC to impress us! here's the latest news they have to share with us in the form of screenshots of the upcoming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. The shots come from Entertainment weekly and show Batman and super man head to head, Bruce Wayne and Wonder (Gal Godot) woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor!

The 6 games that make the Wii U worthwhile!

So deciding to buy a Wii U is difficult and the main reason, not enough games to justify a whole new gaming system. Nintendo have been the same way since making games consoles, 1st party games are the majority and 3rd party barley get in. The games Nintendo pump out are just classic gems, absolutely brilliant ranging from all genres and taste for those old school fans and the new younger audience. Here is the list I put together that makes the decision to commit to the new console easier with a little description why!

Super Smash Bro's

The series started of on the 64 with the idea of simple 4v4 party fun! A few battles between friends soon caught fire and evolved into one of the biggest competitive Esports of today. Sm4sh released for the Wii U and 3DS brings us a whole new gang of fighters to kick each others teeth in and is definitively worth the buy.

Mario 3D World

With every new Nintendo console comes their pride and joy Mario! Wii U brought us 3D World, a game that pushed the series to the limits of what they could do. This title Changed up the simple 8 World Mario system to a level system with literal hundred or so levels. The biggest change.. actually 3D game play with detailed levels and mechanics with new suits for Mario and his friends to wear. The game added a 4 player CO-op system like other titles but really made it a fun game to play with pals.

Yoshi's Woolly World

Woolly World, a game released just this month in the UK and dated for release in October in USA, is a side scrolling platformer just like the old Yoshi Island and Mario games with a little twist, everything's made from yarn! This game is a beautiful and has excellent game mechanics, but sadly falls victim to Mario's 8 world system. Yoshi's woolly world is a simple but fun game that really just feels good to play and is a great CO-OP game.

Hyrule Warriors

A game many people didn't like but I for one loved, a fast paced hack and slash game that pushes the system far and provides massive scale battles that can last for a good hour! Basically this game is Dynasty warriors with a Legend of Zelda skin. Team ninja the team behind Dynasty also produced this game with Nintendo's permission and bridged the 2 fandoms together. Well worth a buy for the action packed cut em up!

Zombie U

A game many people hated for the fact its a Ubisoft game and a 3rd party title, but in all honesty.. i love this game. Zombie U is a title that mixes up your play style between Mario and Pikman and other Nintendo cartoon game and drops you into the gorey world of zombie infested Britain. The game is a sort of rouge like survial with each death brings you a whole new character to explore and bash skulls in with. Zombie U makes great use of the touch pad without making it a hassle to look at both screens. You can pick up this game for dirt cheap at any local game retailers and is WELL worth the money.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

The Zelda series is by far my all time favorite Nintendo games and always will be. From OOT onward I've played and loved every game. Wind Waker, the first title to feature toon link with the self shaded graphics was a massive hit and loved world wide. The game just had such a vast open world with great mechanics and amazing story. the game goes on par with OOT on best zelda game of all time. The Wii U brought us the HD version of the already stunning game, the Wii U version is worth your money to play the this brilliant game and is a great starting point for anyone who hasnt played the games before.

Latest Ant-Man trailer pops up online!

As Marvel's Ant-Man prepares for cinematic release, we get a brand new trailer to build hype around the already much anticipated movie! I'll be the first to say that when Ant-Man was shown i was skeptic and questioned a lot about the movie, could they make Ant-Man not as boring as comics and pack enough action into the film to bring it to avengers grade? The last few trailers have proved me entirely wrong and shown us just what Marvel can do with a B star character!

New Pokemon game, Pokkén Tournament release date trailer!?

If you follow Nintendo or Pokemon there's no doubt you've heard and seen the rumours of Pokken Tournament, a arcade style fighting game based solely on Pokemon characters. The game resembles a Street Fighter or Tekken game in the old fashion 1 v 1 combo move fighting game people loved in the 90's. A few screen shots and fake videos have gone up over the past few years and at E3 2014 we saw a very quick snapshot of the game, but now we finally have some news and a trailer to go hand in hand with it.

Pokken Tournament will be coming to arcades in Japan on July 16th of this year! but sadly.. only Japan for now. No news of console releases or even western announcement has been made as of yet but Im sure we'll hear something in some of Nintendo's game events over the next few months!

A few characters have been revealed along with the game and to be honest they're exactly what you expected, a Charizard, a Machamp and a Weavile so not a lot of great news on the character base.

Star Wars Battlefront Alpha gameplay already!?

Star Wars Battlefront, the prize gem of EA and the winning star of E3. IT was announced there would be a closed alpha for the game and only very very few would be aloud to play the highly anticipated FPS. Along with the privilege to play the game came a set of rules of no recording or broadcasting of the game.. but this is the internet and if there's one thing we all know.. its fuck EA. Game play footage went live on Twitch, YouTube and any other video platform you can think of and were soon enough taken down. The excitement of showing this game of is clearly means more to these fans then being banned out of the access all together.

Now unfortunately there is no footage left to share with you guys, i know since I've spent hours looking, so keep an eye on twitch and YouTube for people broadcasting and uploading.

Very few new details have been discovered about the game from these videos and the only ones we know are there are a few new hologram power ups to use while exploring the vast open maps as you murder wave after wave of storm troopers! Keep your eyes peeled guys!

Fallout Shelter Android Version Release date?

E3 2015 brought us the first of Bethesda's press conference's and boy was it a good one! One of the games they showed us was the mobile game titled Fallout shelter, a bunker management simulator where you take the place of Overseer and managed your vault dwellers. The game was an instant success right after the show being the most downloaded game for weeks. There was one problem.. the the game was iOS only, no android or windows and fans were really annoyed.

The game has been a massive success with just iOS but according to Bethesda's marketing executive, Pete Hines, who shared  release widows on Twitter. The estimated release date in sometime in the month of August, so about a months wait.
